The prestigious tournament will feature the presence of Swish, the fan app of NBN23, so that all matches can be followed live.
The 5th Chus Mateo Academy International Tournament continues to introduce innovations and after having been partnering with NBN23 in previous editions, it will continue, but, for the first time, it will be showcased in Swish, the application that the Spanish company has developed to follow live matches from anywhere in the world by everyone.
The Tournament is named in honour of Chus Mateo, director of the academy and a coach with a lot of experience in the ACB sides since he was the first coach at Unicaja de Málaga and the Basketball Fuenlabrada, in addition to have been showing great results as the assistant coach where he has been one of those responsible for the tremendous success of Real Madrid in the last seasons in which he is acting as an assistant of Pablo Laso.
The competition, which begins on February 13 and will wrap-up on Sunday 16, will have complete statistics credit to Swish and NBN23: ranking of players, complete rosters, updated calendars and the most complete monitoring with instant statistics of all players.
This will not be the only important event of this weekend, but in addition to this competition, on Saturday, the 2nd Coaches Clinic will take place, with the presence of Guillermo Frutos, Diego Blázquez and recent Basketball coach Fuenlabrada, Jota Cuspinera. This addition gives a boost to a competition that aims to be one of the highlighted tournaments in the international scene.
Miguel Bullón, executive director of NBN23, spoke about the addition of Swish to the tournament: “The goal of the application is to be in the best tournaments and being able to partner with the 5th Chus Mateo Academy International Tournament is one step towards our growth and allows us to be part of a unique community where basketball will be the protagonist, ”he said.
